Digression: Fitness

We’re hitting the busy season at work, and at home I’ve decided to actually try and get back some of the fitness I’ve lost over the last few years. I’ve started crossfitting, though I’m really using some of the scaled workouts that get posted over at the Brand X Martial Arts forums. Crossfit is founded on functional movements, variance, and metabolic engagement; there’s a daily workout posted and by default it’s three days on one day rest.
