Adobe Lightroom: Workflow one week on

I’ve been evaluating Adobe’s new beta (really alpha) offering for photographers. Obvious comparisons to Apple’s Aperture are being made, but word from Adobe seems to indicate it’s a been a project for some time now. It’s looking to me to be a competitor of yes, Aperture, but also offerings such as iView Media Pro, Capture One, and Adobe’s own Bridge for certain photographers. It’s part DAM, part RAW converter, and part printing platform; it’s really a pretty slick little app with some rough edges that need filing. The beta has come at a rather opportune moment for me, as I’ve been in the market for a better way of doing things.
