23″ Cinema Display
Posted in photo, workflow, apple, gear on January 18th, 2006I should have done this a long time ago. Trying to do edits on my Albook never seemed bad, but after using the new display for a single night it’s really unbelievable the difference it makes. I don’t expect this comes as much of a surprise to the folks in the know. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had large displays before in my professional life, but not for photo work. I’ve only ever done photo work on the 15″ Albook, since I was strictly silver before the D70. The additional screen real estate is a big win, but more than that the brightness as well as it’s lack of sensitivity to angles (unlike the laptop, which don’t get me wrong I love) makes doing first cuts and editing a whole lot easier.
